Director and Senior Physiotherapist
Declan Hoy-Maroney
Declan was born and raised in northeast Victoria, where his passion for physiotherapy was shaped through a lifelong involvement in sport. Growing up playing football, tennis, and a range of recreational activities, he developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and injury management—driven by a desire to stay active himself and help others do the same.
He has a particular interest in hands-on treatment and takes a practical, patient-focused approach to care. Declan is a strong believer in manual therapy and regularly incorporates techniques such as dry needling, cupping, and massage alongside exercise-based rehabilitation to achieve the best outcomes for his patients.
After gaining extensive experience across Western Australia’s mining and industrial sectors, Declan worked as an on-site physiotherapist and occupational health consultant for major organisations including Talison Lithium Greenbushes Operations, South32 Worsley Alumina, Simcoa Refinery, Simcoa Moora Minesite, V&V Walsh, Wespine Industries, and Doral. These roles strengthened his skills in injury prevention, early intervention, and managing high physical workloads.
Now back in his home region, Declan is passionate about supporting his local community—helping athletes, workers, and everyday individuals stay active, recover from injury, and perform at their best.
As an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist and member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Declan is committed to providing high-quality, evidence based, personalised treatment that promotes long-term health and resilience.
